Color game for kids: find everything blue
A shelf full of toys and fruit, and a voice that names a color: "tap everything that's red." Six red things are mixed in with the rest, and little circles at the top show how many are left. Tap something else and it wiggles, and the search goes on with nothing lost.
Each game has five rounds, and each round asks for a different color: red, blue, yellow, green, orange, purple, pink or brown. The things move to new spots every round, so the shelf hardly ever looks the same twice.
What kids practice
- Recognizing colors and hearing their names again and again.
- Scanning a scene without skipping a shelf.
- Not getting fooled by look-alikes: the red ball right next to the blue one.
- Seeing that color is a quality: there are balls, mugs and balloons in every color.
It works on a computer, tablet or phone, with nothing to download. No reading needed: the voice gives the instruction and repeats it from the speaker button.
Learn colors by playing
Kids learn colors by hearing them named on lots of different things, and that is what happens here: blue shows up on a ball, a boat and a mug, and the voice names it at the start of every round.
For the classroom
On the whiteboard it becomes a game for the whole group: the voice names a color and the kids point to where they see the next one. Since the things get mixed up every round, you can play several times in a row without anyone memorizing where everything is.

Frequently asked questions
What age is it for?
For 4 and 5 year olds who already know some colors and are learning to name them all. Older kids just play it faster.
What happens if they tap the wrong one?
Nothing bad: the object wiggles and the round goes on until all six are found. There are no points to lose and no timer.
Which colors are there?
Eight: red, blue, yellow, green, orange, purple, pink and brown. Each game picks five at random.
Do kids need to read?
No. The voice says the color, the circle in the instruction shows it, and the little circles at the top count how many are left.
How is it different from Color Mixing?
Color Mixing shows where each color comes from by mixing paints. This one is about recognizing them: spotting the blue among everything else.
Is it free?
Yes. It plays in the browser, with no sign-up and nothing to install.
