About Detailed Whale Drawing to Color for Ages 6+
A whale rises to the surface and breathes before sinking back into the sea. Its body glides slowly through the waves, and when it comes up you can just make out its shiny back before it dips under again. Around it, the water swirls in soft circles, and drops slide off its skin like a brief drizzle. Below the surface it swims quietly, following sounds that travel across long stretches of open water. Sometimes it swims close to other whales, moving together as if they were having a quiet conversation. Choose whatever blues and greens you like best for the sea around it, and try blending light and dark shades for its back. When it finishes breathing, the tail lifts just before disappearing under the surface, leaving ripples that take a while to settle.
