He lets out a long crow that cuts off suddenly, waits a second, and repeats it, as if making sure everyone heard. Then he hops down and walks among the hens with firm steps, checking every corner of the yard. He pauses in front of a puddle, tilts his head, and moves on without drinking. Later, once the sun is higher, he climbs back onto the same post, this time in silence, just watching the yard from above. For this page, you could use a few shades of red and orange on the comb and pick colors for the rest of the feathers that work well together.
