About Pterodactyl Coloring Page for Ages 6 and Up
The pterodactyl rests on a tall rock, its wings folded close to its body and its head turning slowly from side to side. Every now and then it shifts its claws against the stone, and a small scraping sound follows. Before taking off, it stretches one wing and then the other, as if testing them, and for a moment the membrane lets the light shine through. It pushes off with its legs, drops slightly, and then climbs back into the air, leaving behind the spot where it sat still. From up there it can see the same landscape it was watching from the rock, only smaller now. For this coloring page, try shades that let the membrane look almost see-through against the light, and give the rock a rough texture with different grays.
