It spreads its wings all the way before taking off from the branch where it was perched. Once in the air, it lets itself glide unhurriedly, barely moving the feathers at the tips to hold its course. It climbs higher and higher, circling in wide loops, until it looks like a distant speck in the sky. When something below catches its attention, it tilts its body to one side and shifts direction with a smooth movement. When it decides to land, it folds its wings little by little and descends in a long curve. Once it reaches the branch, it settles still and smooths its feathers with its beak. While coloring it in, take a look at the wing feathers: you can use a different shade for each one and see how the difference stands out.
