Coast Coloring Page

The sound of waves breaking sets the rhythm of the coast from early morning on. Where the land ends and the sea begins, there are rocks covered in seaweed, small pools where crabs hide, and sand that changes from one stretch to another, finer in some spots and coarser in others. Seagulls circle above the fishing boats that head out and return throughout the day, and the shore keeps the marks of nets laid out to dry. When the tide goes down, new rocks and pools appear that were covered before, and when the water rises it covers them again. Some coasts have tall cliffs, others slope gently down into the water.
